G1CWP & G0LFF is QRV on 6m with ICOM IC-726 + G3WZT homebrew amp 10-100w (1985) & a homebrew short boom (4.4m) 5 el Loop Fed Array (LFA) designed by Justin Johnson G0KSC fed with Andrews LDF4-50 feeder via Bird 43 thruline watt meter.

10m with 100w to an InnovAntennas short boom 3el OP-DES

Worked all Continents from IO90wx West Sussex, South Coast UK on 6m.

50Mhz Earth-Moon-Earth (EME) 2 way contact (800,000 Km) with W7GJ 22nd Oct 2011 confirmed.

HF = 10m - 40m with Icom IC-726 with a half size G5RV antenna dog legged into my 9m (30 feet) back yard just 4.5m (15 feet) above ground.

The home brew 4.4m long 5 element Loop Fed Array (LFA) Yagi designed by Justin Johnson G0KSC installed on 1st November 2010. The main advantage of this antenna is a huge reduction of locally generated noise (hash).

Building the antenna was fairly straight forward and attention to detail along with patiance is essential to max out on permormance.
