Lt John B Collse H.K.R.N.V.R. [MTB 12]

MTB 12 was lost in action after taking a direct hit on the conning tower and crashing into to wall at Kowloon on 19th December 1941

Tel P.O. Alf D Hunt was on the conning tower with Colls when hit & woke up on the beach tied up with barbed wire by the Japanese. A/B Bartlett managed to swim ashore and was taken to the Queen Mary hospital suffering immersion.

Tel P.O. Alf Hunt G3CHU is Chairman/Secretary of the Far East POW [FEPOW] association [Birmingham]
