Mwadui Power House 1955/58

Steve [Buddy] Hide at the Power House.

He was in charge of the nine 900 kw Diesel engines & one 750 kw Gas Turbine,

Auxiliaries, HT & LT, Switchgear etc.

This was the 2nd largest Power House in all Tanganyika.

There was a regular bus service round the mine,

Buddy off to work at the Power House

& in the rollover photo it's the Van Rooyan kids.
